Pick-up pre-registration packets for the day’s schedule, there is no on-site registration. Meet old and new friends and enjoy coffee, tea, juices and an assortment of delicious doughnuts and pastries.

9:30 a.m. – Sara L. Siebert Memorial Keynote: Elizabeth Acevedo
Award-winning poet and novelist Elizabeth Acevedo received the 2018 National Book Award for her New York Times best selling novel, The Poet X.  She will discuss her young adult novels and answer questions from the audience.

10:45 a.m. – Discussion Groups
Join pre-selected discussion groups for the morning themed discussions.
Groups: TBD.

Room assignments are in registration packets.

12:15 p.m. – Lunch, Author and Artist Signing
Buy books by Elizabeth Acevedo and Alex London.

1:15 p.m. – Afternoon Discussion Groups
Return to pre-assigned book groups to enjoy your afternoon discussions.
Groups: TBD. Room assignments are in registration packets.

2:40 p.m. – Afternoon keynote: Alex London 
Alex London is the author of over 25 books for children, teens, and adults, with over 2 million copies sold. For young adults, he’s the author of the cyberpunk duology Proxy and the epic fantasy Black Wings Beating. He will talk about his young adult novels and answer questions from the audience.

3:40 p.m. – Evaluations & “Reception to Go”
Fill out and turn in your evaluation sheet. Teens receive a bag of young adult books.

Before you begin your journey home, pick up a bag with fruit and snacks to enjoy.

3:45 – Late Autographing Session
If you missed buying books or getting your books autographed here’s another chance.
